ABOUT KORTACONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT / 001
#

Infrastructure
you can understand.

Korta is a lightweight, agentless server configuration platform written in Go. It lets you describe Linux infrastructure in Markdown, review a plan, and apply changes over SSH.

From a single server to a shared fleet, Korta keeps the configuration and the decisions behind it readable.

##   HOW IT WORKS

Write it. Review it.
Put it to work.

A role describes the state you want: packages, users, files, services, firewall rules and more. Choose your hosts, inspect the plan and approve the changes before Korta applies them.

01 / WRITE
#

Describe your servers.

Keep readable Markdown roles with the rest of your infrastructure code.

02 / REVIEW
?

See what will change.

Plan each role against the selected hosts before applying it.

03 / APPLY
↗

Connect over SSH.

Apply approved configuration without installing an agent on your hosts.

##   WHO IT IS FOR

For the people
who run the systems.

Korta is for developers, system administrators, consultants and platform teams who want a clear, repeatable way to manage servers they control.

Individuals & small teams

Configure Linux hosts from your own machine using the standalone CLI.

Operations & platform teams

Share and review roles across the environments your team manages.

Consultants & service providers

Keep reusable configuration alongside the context needed to maintain it.

##   CORE & ENTERPRISE

Start with the core.
Grow with your team.

The open-source core includes the CLI and role engine. Run it on your own machine with a Markdown inventory and your existing SSH access.

Korta Enterprise adds a self-hosted manager, a web console and API, approvals, audit history, an encrypted vault and deployment workflows. Teams can also open an SSH terminal from the web console and provision cloud instances before applying roles.
